How do I get listed as a bank feeds provider in QuickBooks (Intuit)?
Last updated: June 2, 2026
If you are building on Rutter's Intuit (QuickBooks Online) Bank Feeds product, your end users connect to your bank feed from inside QuickBooks. Before they can do that, Rutter has to list you as a bank feeds provider in Intuit's portal. This article walks you through that listing process and what you need to provide.
What Intuit creates for you
When Rutter initiates your listing, Intuit provisions two banks:
- Sanity (staging) bank — named
<Your Company> - Sanity. Use this to test the full connect-and-sync flow end to end before going live. - Production bank — named
<Your Company>. This is what real end users connect to once you are approved for production.
Assets you need to provide
Send the following to your Rutter contact so we can submit your listing:
- Logo in four PNG sizes: 60×110, 120×220, 180×330, and 400×400 pixels.
- Display name (how your bank feed appears in QuickBooks).
- Website URL.
- Base currency.
Steps to get listed
- Send Rutter the assets listed above.
- Rutter submits the listing to Intuit. Intuit typically provisions the Sanity and Production banks within about three business days.
- Test end to end against your Sanity bank, working through the Production Readiness Checklist your Rutter contact shares with you. Confirm you can connect, that your bank feed transactions appear in QuickBooks, and that disconnection works as expected.
- Once testing passes, ask Rutter to request your production listing. Going live depends on Intuit's approval timeline, which Rutter cannot control but will push on your behalf.
Good to know
- Staging vs. production org: your Sanity listing is tied to your staging Rutter organization and your production listing to your production organization. Within staging you still toggle between Sandbox and Production mode while testing.
- Testing requires a paid QuickBooks subscription. Free QuickBooks sandbox accounts do not support bank feeds, so you cannot fully test the flow on a free sandbox.
